Qalbun is an Arabic word for heart or mind, saliim refers to pure, healthy, sound, clean, or good. Qalbun saliim literally means healthy heart or sound mind. It derives from The Holy Qur’an surah Ash-Shu'ara ayat 88 -89.
Yauma laa yanfa’u maalun (The Day whereon neither wealth)
walaa banuun (nor children will be of benefit),
illaa man atAllaaha (but only those who come before Allah)
bi qalbin saliim (with a sound heart).
Qalbun Saliim Art is my personal journey of purifying my heart and drawing closer to Allah SWT. Every brushstroke is an act of worship, a sincere effort to cleanse my soul, seek His pleasure, and prepare myself to stand before Him on the Day of Judgment, worthy of His mercy.
In each painting, I pour my deepest feelings, love, and devotion. These works are more than art; they are prayers made visible. Most are original designs born from my heart, unless I mention that I have drawn inspiration from other calligraphers. Every piece is rooted in the Holy Quran, the beautiful names of Allah, or the prayers and dzikr taught by our beloved Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.
It is my heartfelt prayer that whoever takes one of these paintings home will also feel their heart soften, their imaan strengthened, and their connection with Allah deepened. May these pieces become a source of barakah and light in your home, and a gentle reminder that brings you closer to Him.
